Every year Alstede Farm grows and plans a large, themed corn maze. This is a fun activity for the entire family to wander through. You can make your way through the maze at night by flashlight. And bonus points, the corn maze is open every day for the fall season and included with your pick-your-own apples ticket. MS Doesn’t Stop Me From Enjoying Fall: Orchards and Sweater Weather

Having MS we don’t visit our local orchard for apple picking. Rest assured this doesn’t prevent me from enjoying sweater weather which is the best season.  We take a day trip and visit the apple orchard for their yummy fall foods, homemade jams, and of course, their apples! Before we head home, we visit the local pumpkin patch to find the perfect pumpkin. Okay, maybe a few pumpkins. If we choose not to enjoy food at Alstede after we visit local shops we enjoy a late lunch at our favorite local restaurant after our long drive home.

We bring those apples home and the kitchen has apple skins and sticky juice on the counters on weekends even if we no longer pick our apples.
