Well, this did happen when my husband went to pick up a piece for me from a shop not far from us.

Now, for the most part, when I find this size pitcher of ironstone it’s more money than I am willing to pay.
However, this isn’t the case with this piece. Also, the only picture I had is from this stores Instagram feed. The only thing that I saw is the size and the price and John went on his way.
Well, after this score and it came home this is when I got to see all the details. Look at these details they make this pitcher even better.

In the meantime, I am getting the itch to add spring touches here and there in the house. So, it seems fitting to add Pussy Willows to this beautiful ironstone pitcher.
And I did purchase these spring blooms from this shop. These truly look like the real thing, it amazes me. I will be buying more for next year to have on hand for beginning of spring decorating.
These also bring back memories of my childhood so how awesome is that.
