Now I am able to make it for our home and share it with my family during the holiday season.

In addition to this bread being simple there’s minimal fuss. But, one of the best things I have discovered is, the longer it sits the denser it gets.

This date nut bread is especially perfect with the holidays coming. Because this quick bread has all the smells and tastes of the holidays so it’s perfect. And especially if you are having family or friends staying for the holidays. It’s also delicious slightly warm with melted butter or even a bit of cream cheese, however, plain is my favorte!.

So making date nut bread easily is great for dessert as well as breakfast!

To get the best shelf life from the date nut bread, cover it with aluminum foil or plastic wrap in a plastic bag to prevent it from drying out.

If properly stored, this bread 1 to 2 days at normal room temperature. I generally keep mine refrigerated and it’s good for a week.

This also freezes extremely well for 3 months wrapped well.

I hope you will try this easy recipe and enjoy it with family and friends. Let me know if you have any recipes that have been shared with friends.
