Now I can make it for our home and share it with my family during the holiday season.

In addition to this bread being simple, there’s minimal fuss. But, one of the best things I have discovered is, that the longer it sits the denser it gets.

This date nut bread is perfect for the fall and the holiday season.

Because this quick bread has all the smells and tastes of the holidays it’s perfect.

If you are having family or friends staying for the holidays.

It’s also delicious slightly warm with melted butter or even a bit of cream cheese, however, plain is my favorite!

I use this  loaf pan when I make this simple recipe.   It makes it beautiful too!

The loaf pan makes this a baked bread recipe for family and friends.

So making date nut bread easily is great for dessert, breakfast, and everything in between!

To get the best shelf life from the date nut bread, cover it with aluminum foil or plastic wrap in a plastic bag to prevent it from drying out.

Properly stored, this baked bread will last 1 to 2 days at room temperature. I generally keep mine refrigerated and wrapped tightly in aluminum foil, and it’s good for a week.

This also freezes well for three months wrapped well.

I hope you will try this easy recipe and enjoy it with family and friends. Let me know if you have any recipes that have been shared with friends.
