Viola Beauty
Happy sunny Monday morning. Spring has sprung here and the first plants I enjoy are these beauties.
This urn has been with us since we moved into our home five years ago. I love the beauty of the urn with its raised pedestal.
Violas are my favorite plant to add to our planters in early spring. Look at the delicate petals and the pretty colors.
Love these blue French looking planters filled with these beauties on our concrete bench. It hangs out underneath our white dogwood tree.
You may notice behind these pretty flowers are Boxwoods another favorite of mine. New mulch doesn’t happen here for a few more weeks.
Hope you enjoyed seeing these Violas. We are getting showers after today on and off all week, spring in NJ. Here’s hoping you are enjoying some spring touches at your home.

Cindy the Violas look so pretty. I love the containers too. I hope in the next few weeks I will be able to start to plant flowers. We had two weeks of gorgeous weather and then last Saturday we got hit with 5 inches of snow. Old Man Winter keeps popping his ugly head.

Thanks Kris. We won’t be planted our summer annuals for a few weeks. This is why I love violas. I plant them late March and they add much needed color until annuals.
You can’t catch a break with winter in the Midwest. Hope the pattern ends and SOON

You have just given me an idea with your pretty outdoor container. I need to do something about my front entrance and this would really make it look pretty. Thanks for the inspiration.
Beautiful, CIndy! I put out a pot of pansies, and they were promptly eaten by either a deer, squirrel, or rabbit 🙁
Love this post…we are having so much wind that is usual for this part of the country. I’ve planted several pots for my patio but they are looking sad and windblown. I should just wait until summer to spend my flower money.
