Zevo Flying Insect Trap

Summer has kicked in and so have the bugs.

No one enjoys the idea of gnats in the home.

How about we trap them easily? This also works great for flies.

Which is our biggest summer insect issue!

I’m reviewing the Zevo Flying insect trap today!

Flies in our home are an issue because the dogs have their own area, and we tend to leave the door open. We do this when they enjoy the sun, so they are able to come in and out easily.

Why do we have no screens on the doors? Well, using a walker it isn’t safe for me. I have to be able to get in and out and a screen door will be very unsafe.

So last year I vowed I was going to take care of the issue. Because let’s face it they aren’t the cleanest bugs to have flying around the house. Besides it’s disgusting.

After doing some searching, I discovered Zevo. I’m sure many of you know they have nontoxic insect sprays. However, I’m looking for traps. Imagine using fly paper in the home? A BIG NO to that.

Welcome to dinner and ignore the fly paper with the dead flies sticking to it in our kitchen. Let’s eat, NO WAY!

Of course, I found these at Walmart. After reading the reviews I made the order.

When plugging these in there’s bluish UV light.

And of course, they have the best PRICE.

It looks like a disco in some of the corners of our home.

But let me tell you we have no problem with it at all.

Please excuse the gross bug filled picture but I have to share the details and results.

Especially because these are fantastic. If the flies are in the house, the next morning they are GONE.

No more being embarrassed when family and friends visit.

We never have to deal with seeing and hearing them zoom around our home. If you have this issue, I highly recommend buying these Zevo Flying Insect Traps.

By the way, one of the best parts, they are inexpensive and so are the refills. So if you need a Zevo flying insect trap get it because it works!

  1. Omgoodness, the flies have hit the East Coast, haven’t they?? We don’t have screen doors either – mostly for aesthetics. The flies come in each time we open the doors. Thanks for sharing this product!

  2. I’ve never heard of this company before, Cindy, it sounds like a product that definitely works. Can’t wait to find out more about them. We don’t have flies or gnats but we have had a ton of wasps on the front porch lately so I’m excited to see if this product will work for them because Piper is highly allergic and it’s scary to open the front door and not know if they’re going to be flying around or not! Thanks so much for sharing this, CoCo

  3. The flies have been horrible here. It doesn’t matter if you have a screen door or not, they get into the house. I have never seen these traps before. I may need to get one or two for the house. I am tired of chasing them in the house with a fly swatter.
