Cindy’ Corner

Welcome to Cindy’s Corner where I share a bit about what’s been happening at Cloches & Lavender and what’s coming up on the blog.

Here I also share a bit about myself and what I see that interests me on the web.

Recently I read an article about birds in NJ and bird feeders. It seems the birds have bird flu, and they want us to stop feeding them.

Behind our home are evergreens and tons of our feathered friends. So, I get to enjoy many birds chirping all day long. I love it!

Happy Sunday, I love Sunday! It’s usually a day where we enjoy time together. Maybe watch a black and white movie. Snuggle with the pups. Do you like cold weather. I normally love it! However this week it has been so cold in NJ. At least it hasn’t been windy. Poor Reeses and Peanut don’t…

September for me is about getting ready for dried hydrangeas.   When I planted them my plan was always to dry as many as I could for our décor.   I love adding them for early fall and spring.   Many will stay throughout the season and some will be replaced in October.    …

  1. So many fun links to dive into this week, Cindy! I had no idea about not feeding the birds. We have tons of birds out here from marsh birds to ospreys and hawks to songbirds so I’ll definitely look into that. Thanks so much for the heads up. Hugs, CoCo

  2. I didn’t realize there was another bird flu this year. I know that last year there was a bad outbreak, and we definitely noticed an alarming decrease in the number of birds in our area. Thanks for the heads up.
