I mix French country and farmhouse style to create a cozy, lived-in home, never stuffy. Here I share easy crafts, recipes, and decorating ideas with a cozy, natural touch. I especially love making wreaths that work across three seasons, keeping decorating budget-friendly.
In spring and summer, I decorate with moss and flower pots. Come fall, our home is filled with dried hydrangeas, pine cones, nuts, and preserved acorns. I’ve got hundreds! In the cooler months, I bring warmth with simmer pots and plenty of baking.
I enjoy giving new pieces an old look using paint, wax, and dry brushing. Since thrift stores aren’t great in our area, I’ve learned to age just about anything, from baskets and furniture to flower pots and even plastic pumpkins.
Beyond decorating, I’m married to my best friend, John, my biggest supporter and handyman. We’re huge NY Mets fans, cheering on every game during the summer.
