This is a delicious combination of classic fall flavors of cranberries, and spice cake. The cinnamon in the spice cake brings out the tartness and sweetness of the cranberries.

Equipment

  • 1 9 x 13 baking pan greased
  • 1 metal spatula to spread the cranberries and cake mix
  • 1 large spoon to remove cranberries from the can

Ingredients
  

  • 3 14 ounce cans whole-berry cranberry sauce
  • 1 box spice cake mix
  • 1/2 cup room temperature butter, sliced into 12 slices

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees f.
  • Spread the cranberry sauce on the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  • Sprinkle the entire box of cake mix over the fruit to completely cover.
  • Evenly place the slice of butter slices on top of the cake mix
  • Bake the dump cake for 35 to 40 minutes. Until the cake is golden brown and the fruit is bubbling

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Grease a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
Spread the cranberry sauce on the bottom of the greased baking dish.  Use a rubber spatula to spread the cranberries evenly on the bottom of the baking dish.
