Narcissus and Ironstone

Hello my friends, I hope everyone is finding many things to create during this time. I have been creating many things around our home I will be sharing soon.

This vignette for the kitchen table for spring. Narcissus ska Daffodils are my favorite spring bulbs. I have loved them since I can remember. When young I used to say they were like telephones. My mom knew then I was going to be creative.

The small Daffodils are from Factory Direct and I think they look very real. At times I enjoy faux flowers especially these because they can used year after year in different ways, saves a few pennies too.

After adding a piece of Styrofoam I pushed each stem through to secure. To keep this looking natural I used Reindeer moss to cover the foam, 1, 2, 3, easy!

I enjoy using sheep around the holidays and springtime. Using a pedestal I had in my stash I added the two sheep surrounded with moss. I’m loving the way this looks in my antique French fruit crate.

I hope you’re enjoying getting ready for spring. Are you using this time to create? If you are I look forward to reading your posts.

Hello, my name is Cindy and welcome to Cloches & Lavender. I enjoy making our house a home with antiques and thrifted finds. Antiques are used as my staples in my dcor to remain on a budget. I will often upcycle pieces with paint to make them new again. I enjoy DIYs

  1. Hi Cindy,
The sheep are very cute and I love the narcissus. Can you send me the link for those. I love them. Love the pretty tureen you put them in too. Happy Friday.

  2. Cindy those flowers are so real looking! I LOVE them. These are perfect faux flowers. Especially for spring flowers which never stand up long – I always seem to have to stake them. So pretty!
