Coffee Table Vignette

Hey guys, we are in for a HEATWAVE in NJ, aren’t they enjoyable, NOT!

Today I am sharing a vignette I put together for the season on our coffee table.   The base was found at Home Goods and we used under our Christmas tree this winter.

When the warmer months came around I wanted something different and thought, how about the wine barrel we used under the tree.  This is a large piece and I like how it plays off the round inner rim of the table .

I used the topiary I made last year.  It may look familiar, its twin is in the foyer, you can see that HERE .  Look HERE how this was made.

I’m a candle fan, as my husband is well aware, LOL.   When Bath and Body Works has a sale, I stock up on my favorite scents.

Many don’t burn them in the warmer months but I must have a candle burning 365 days a year.

Come to think of it, my inventory is running low, good thing the fall and winter scents are beginning to show up.  Don’t get snarky because I said fall and winter, just candles, LOL.

The antique post finial is from an Etsy shop from a while back.  I thought this little clay pot I made using the Mod Podge reverse transfer method would add a nice touch.

I adore the metal with its worn appearance, isn’t it charming?

One final shot of the vignette.  Have a super day!

  1. Looks beautiful Cindy. Love the wine barrel tray. Gorgeous. Hey I am a candle fan too. I burn them all year round too. With the heat being so bad here in Illinois and having things closed up with the air running I need the smells of summer from my candles. Hey if you cannot open the windows and have fresh flower scents wafting in then why not with a candle! Have a great new week ahead.

  2. Hi Cindy, love this table vignette. You’ve added great elements together. Love the crown. Thanks for sharing this inspiration. Stay cool. It’s mighty hot here too.
    Have a happy new week!!

  3. I just love all of the gorgeous vignettes that you create, Cindy! The tray is so neat, it works perfectly on your round coffee table. And the petite French pot you made is adorable! Love the vintage finial, and the crown is perfect, too! You pull things together so beautifully! We’ve had a heat wave here all summer long. Fall is sounding pretty good right about now!

  4. It’s hot, but being by a lake helps. I do wish we would get rain though. We have a well, and it just makes me uncomfortable not knowing how that’s holding up.

The wind barrel tray is stunning! I love unique pieces like that, and you’ve put together such a lovely vignette.

  5. I love the tray….the whole vignette is beautiful!!!! I burn candles all year around and love crisp linen for the summer months. I will just say it, I’m tired of the hot temps and am very ready for FALL!!!
