Moving Pieces

Good morning friends, today I wanted to share pieces I moved.  The cathedral style gate was moved from our kitchen.

A friend found a piece ready for garbage day when out with his son and brought it home to our house.  We are going to do some work to see if it will work in our kitchen.  It needs some fixing and paint so, pieces were moved around to make space.

I have had the pair of these for a very long time and still enjoy using them in the house.  When deciding where they would work I knew I would have to use separate spots to display them because of their size.  This spot used to have an antique shutter with this corbel I painted and I shuffled a few finials around to make a pretty vignette.

I kept the boxwood wreath here that was hanging on the shutter and changed the ribbon, it adds a touch of spring.

Are you working on moving things around your home or projects?

Hello, my name is Cindy and welcome to Cloches & Lavender. I enjoy making our house a home with antiques and thrifted finds. Antiques are used as my staples in my dcor to remain on a budget. I will often upcycle pieces with paint to make them new again. I enjoy DIYs
