Moving Pieces

Good morning friends, today I wanted to share pieces I moved.  The cathedral style gate was moved from our kitchen.

A friend found a piece ready for garbage day when out with his son and brought it home to our house.  We are going to do some work to see if it will work in our kitchen.  It needs some fixing and paint so, pieces were moved around to make space.

I have had the pair of these for a very long time and still enjoy using them in the house.  When deciding where they would work I knew I would have to use separate spots to display them because of their size.  This spot used to have an antique shutter with this corbel I painted and I shuffled a few finials around to make a pretty vignette.

I kept the boxwood wreath here that was hanging on the shutter and changed the ribbon, it adds a touch of spring.

  1. Since I am self isolating I am cleaning and redoing a few things. Pacing myself, because I am afraid we are in for the long haul. xo Laura

  2. Looks beautiful Cindy. I am staying in and trying to get motivated. It has been raining so no walks outside with Buddy. It is hard to be motivated when there is no sunshine. Stay safe.

  3. So pretty, Cindy! Yes we are tucked in with the girls. So far, I’ve only done a few things, but they weren’t pretty. Cleaning out the pantry and cleaning up the house. Stay safe my friend.

  4. These pieces are all gorgeous, Cindy! It’ so much fun to move things around. Especially, now that we’ve been given a bit of extra time. You have a lot of beautiful finds and I can’t wait to see what you have in mind. Your style is so pretty! Hugs, CoCo
