DIY Challenge Tablescape Inspiration

Hello everyone, today I’m joining a group of ladies for a DIY Challenge to make a piece to use for your Thanksgiving table.  Terrie from Decorate & More With Tip is our host.

For this challenge I decided to take silver plate spoons that were my Grandmother’s and make napkin rings.  Cute idea don’t you think?

My grandmother would frequent antique shops often and had a very large assortment of silver plate pieces and I thought this would be such a sweet addition to our table for the holiday or anytime of year.

My handyman husband helped me with the bending of the spoon.  Not going to fib, it takes a bit of muscle for my spoons.  These are heavy thick spoons.  If they were lighter and thinner I would’ve had no problem.

You’ll see in the photo my husband used a plumbing pipe he grabbed from Lowes and bent it around and voila, a beautiful napkin ring for your Thanksgiving Day table.

I hope this inspires you to make something for your Thanksgiving table.
