We woke up Sunday morning with some snow. How I wish this would hang in there for Christmas but sadly the temperature will warm just enough that we won’t have a white Christmas.
Our front porch is filled with a fresh balsam wreath and fresh greens are added to our urns.
Our urns are filled with wonderful greens, Christmas balls and snow covered pinecones.
The smell of fresh pine greets and will welcome family and friends when they are visiting over the Christmas season.
A bundle of birch logs tied up in a beautiful Tartan ribbon will remind everyone who enters they will warm up with a wonderful fire while visiting.
The lantern below will remind them of the warmth of candle light when always visiting our home.
Wreathes on the windows add more warmth and a welcoming feeling with they’re burlap Poinsettias and Tartan ribbon.
While making the way to our door my childhood sled and a pair of vintage skates filled with greens makes our family and guests hopefully have a reminder of younger days of sledding and skating.
While parking their cars may the hanging of swags with Tartan ribbon be a hint of how warm and welcome they will feel as they get ready to take the walk to our front door.
As all our family pulls in the driveway they will be able to see our shed with beautiful wreathes hanging to greet them saying the beginning of our Christmas journey at Cindy and John’s.
Hope you enjoyed the views!

Very festive and welcoming. Merry Christmas.

Thank you Kris and Merry Christmas
It looks so lovely Cindy!
We’ve had the same weather as you it seems. Too bad everything will most likely melt before the holiday, but your festive home for sure will keep everyone who visits in a holiday mood :).

Thanks so much my dear friend. Merry Christmas, Hugs
Everything is so pretty and festive! I hope you all have a Merry Christmas!!!
There’s nothing like a white Christmas! No snow here in Texas, so I really enjoyed your photos! Merry Christmas!
Hi Cindy your home decor outside is a treat to pull up and see. So welcoming and gives a hint to how pretty it will continue being on the inside. Love your porch ideas with the ribbon tied birch logs and I love your deer wreath. The sweet shed with the wreaths is darling.
Wishing you a very Merry Christmas my friend and all the best in the new year!! xo
