November is upon us, the days are getting much cooler, HAPPY dance!
For me, this means let the games begin so to speak.
I have to digress for a moment. Notice this gorgeous fabric pumpkin below.
I saw it at Celeste’s Etsy shop over at Southern DayDreams blog. It is the one new item I purchased this year for fall and it didn’t disappoint. Beautiful lace styled fabric, Celeste, I LOVE it my friend!
Back to my story, baking cookies are in the plans for this weekend.
We are having my family over in a few weeks for a Harvest Day.
We have a great time laughing, eating and getting together.
There will be many yummy goodies on the menu.
Just to name a few, Pumpkin Pecan baked Brie wrapped in puff pastry warm out of the oven.
Kielbasa wrapped in baconwith a brown sugar glaze crispy from the oven.
We aren’t worrying about calories, this is a celebration of the season after all.
Baked Pumpkin ravioli with a homemade Sage pesto sauce for dipping.
Roasted skinless bone in chicken thighs with roasted fall veggies and apples seasoned with spices.
Pumpkin Cornbread with Cinnamon Honey butter.
Brown sugar shortbread, Pumpkin pudding cookies with cinnamon and semi-sweet chocolate chips. Along with, Pumpkin Biscotti and Cinnamon Brown Sugar Biscotti.
This is a hint of what I did to our coffee table and end tables in this room. A super update I will be sharing soon.
I hope you have plans to celebrate the Fall season with family or friends. Enjoy!

I like you “softer” take on fall — lovely, Cindy! The menu has me drooling, here. Everything sounds amazing, and I sure hope you will share some recipes –especially for the brie and the pumpkin pudding cookies!
The menu sounds awesome Cindy! I’ve been known to bake brie a few times, and it’s truly one of my favorite things to eat!
