Hey everyone, it’s still very humid in Jersey. I have had enough and I am ready for cooler temperatures.
Many projects have been going on at Cloches and Lavender and I will be sharing soon.
I wanted to share our bookcase for the season before it is over, HA, HA.
Isn’t the antique piece of fence pretty behind the finial. I purchased that from Etsy, LOVE!
Close up of an antique French doorknob with a small French lock I found on Etsy. I have shown these in different parts of the house before.
One of my many cloches filled with vintage flower pots and a bundle of lavender displayed with some of my French decorating books.
Wonderful shot of the vintage pots.
A whimsical feel with my crown on top of books to add some height.
A vintage tureen I purchased from Etsy. I think the green moss balls look nice with the brown on the tureen. A pair of ivory candles wrapped in French script papers add a nice touch.
Isn’t the patina super on this vintage sheep? I thought this pedestal with artichokes would be a nice touch.
This filigree pear was a gift many years ago. Still one of my favorites, like the texture.
A candle holder adorned with a lavender ball next to an antique fence finial I bought many years ago at a craft show in Couth Jersey.
I have a thing for Mercury glass and added some ivory small petaled flowers to add a warm touch.
Have a great rest of the week!

Cindy, your bookcase looks amazing! All of your accents are beautiful! You know that I am partial to anything with a fleur de lis! Wish I had you here to style some of mine!
You kidding Shenita, you are a pro
I love these kinds of vignettes! Great job on how you’ve set everything up in the bookcase. Isn’t it fun to do this and then enjoy the view!
It’s true Liz, I love making adjustments and really taking them in.
Very pretty vignettes Cindy. Hugs to Reeses and Peanut.

I’m thinking maybe the crown should go on your night stand, just in case there is any question!

You have displayed your collections so beautifully! I love the French vibe. My very favorite is that gorgeous transferware tureen! The green balls are the perfect accent.
