Where is Spring???  The grass still is brown, the temperatures are still chilly, the daffodils are not up anywhere around the neighborhood.  We can’t seem to get more than one day of sunshine.

We are getting tired in our neck of the woods.  We were all excited about spring and seeing the calendar bring Easter, thinking the planting and landscaping season was right around the corner.  And now, we are beginning to think a mistake has been made and the weather may just turn into summer.

Spring is a time for new growth and enjoying the longer days.  The pups outside investigating their new territory.  I have to honestly tell you, I think they are even sick of not being able to see the sun and lounge outside in their “Puppy Run”

With any luck the weather men/women are correct and this weekend will finally bring warmer temperatures.  The pups can finally go for a nice walk with Daddy.

Thank goodness for the ability to brighten our coffee table with some brightness.  Don’t be fooled by the sun in this picture.  It was taken on one of our few sunny days.

The basket used is from PB.  I used some decorating books to elevate the items placed inside.  I left my cloche from the winter and add my spring touches.

Excuse the pads on the couch.  They are for the pups.  We would not use them except for the fact they decide to dig every once in a while, LOL.

The lavender topiary I made in our other house and still looks as good as when it was finished.  It has one of my favorite French transfers which I used the Mod Podge method.

The preserved boxwood I purchased from Save-On-Crafts.

I hope everyone is having a great week and I look forward to the weekend in hopes for warmer and sunnier days.
