You may notice in pictures this is my office and needs work.  You can get an idea of what look I’m going for based on the chair.  Much to be done in here once the weather gets warmer, desk needs painting, armoire needs additional moldings added and painting and John is going to build me a craft table.

Finally, I found candle holders for the kitchen table, but…….A change had to be made to them.  I love the height and the junky look.  The finish not that much.  I figured for $34 I would make a change with the finish.

I took them from this

I took out a sample of Old Ochre ASCP paint that I had and gave them a coat and that made them look so much better and I was happy once again. The photo below is before glazing.

I still wanted to add more to these so, I pulled out my trusty raw umber paint and clear glaze and mixed a batch to begin the aging process.  It took no time and I’m thrilled with the outcome.  Paint, especially chalk paint works wonders, don’t you think???
