I hope everyone’s week is going well.
Today, I thought I would share our dining room table Christmas setting. I have Nikko Christmas dishes as well as these beautiful red glass dishes that my sister-in-law purchased for me a ways back as our Christmas gift. I usually alternate the dishes to be able to utilize both of them as well as to add some interest to the table. I love the look.
The chargers believe it or not I purchased from our local food market years ago for $2 each. I think that is a great deal and I don’t need expensive chargers just to be an accent.
I wrapped our cloth napkins in pieces that a bride gave me from her wedding hall. She gave 12 of them which I thought was a nice gesture, she was married at Holiday time.
The stemware and the glasses are from the same set of dishes that I received as a gift. I love the deep red color.
The table is adorned with silver deer that I just love because of their ornateness and their glitz, with some greenery around them. In the middle is my favorite cloche, in which I placed a large ornament and smaller ones surrounding it at the base.
I decided to add wreaths this year and I added pinecones that I had in a storage box to make the wreathes more decorative and festive. I placed them around my candle lanterns that stay on our dining room table all year round.
On the “Captains” chairs at the head of the table are pillows with Poinsettia on them that I purchased from Pottery Barn, on sale, along with burgundy sashes. On the side chairs I tie velvet ribbon around with small boxwood wreathes.
I hope everyone enjoys these pictures of what I think is a very festive dining room.
