I hope everyone had a good weekend I can’t believe it is Sunday already, mine was busy finishing our 9 foot Christmas tree in the great room.

I thought I would share one of our Christmas vignettes in our entryway.  The sled I purchased about 15 years ago and it started out bright red.  I felt it needed a makeover so I chose to paint it black and then faux with some silver metallic paint.  I add plaster stencils to the sled to give an aged and sophisticated flair.

As you can see the packages are wrapped black and white toile fabric and I thought that brought some whimsy along with some teddy bears.

On our Bombay chest this year I placed some Christmas trees that I purchased from Ballard approximately 10 years ago and they add some sparkle.  The small white trees in the picture I purchased from a craft fair for $3 each.  They are very pretty with their sparkle.

Next to the cabinet is an urn that I filled with some Christmas balls this year.

I hope everyone enjoys these pictures.
