Hello, I hope everyone is doing well. Here in New Jersey we are bracing ourselves for Hurricane Sandy. It is unfortunate but you can’t fight Mother Nature. Anyone on the East coast be safe!
I had two more leftover cabinet doors from our old kitchen and decided to make artwork out of them for our foyer wall.
Before I did anything, I sanded down the cabinets lightly, used stencils and added a coat of plaster and let that dry for a couple of days.
After the plaster dried, I applied ASCP in Country Grey and let that cure for two days and then instead of using wax this time I used my tried and true Raw Umber glaze. I love this process; I have to say I love the look the treatment gives.
After that process I gave the whole cabinet a very light sanding, and had John hang them on the wall.
