This old, aged bird bath that we found years ago doesn’t hold the water any more, but we keep it nestled in the flowers near our water feature (post coming soon!) outside my office window. I like the weathered look and the bit of old world charm that it adds to the scenery.
The flowers surrounding it make a beautiful grouping and provide me with a nice colorful contrast to all the trees that are out back. I happen to love these delicate, yet statuesque flowers but have no idea of the name (John planted them a year or two ago and didn’t give me the ticket, LOL). If someone knows, please feel free to let me know.
They are so elegant when the wind blows with the bird bath nestled next to them. They put me in a good place and remind me of something old and loved.
Here are a few shots from different angles, I was practicing with the camera this morning, before it got to hot!
