I hope everyone enjoys their Fourth of July and is safe!  4th of July, I can’t even believe I am saying that, the time goes by so quickly.

The time was right for me to change the fabric in my office frame.  The black toile fabric was in the frame (it originally had a mirror in it) for many years and had faded, so I wanted  change it out and add a pop of color this time around. You don’t realize how much the sun fades things.

I keep spare remnants and samples around just for quick projects like this.  It only took me about 5 minutes and was basically free to get this different look.

I went with this fabric to  compliment the black frame with a pop of deep red on a goldish background.  I really like the way it looks and the charm it adds to the wall.  It also works very well with the paint color and the lamp shades on my sconces.
