Hi, my name is Cindy and I grew up and still live in New Jersey. I’ve been married for almost 24 years to a great man named John. We have a great marriage and are best friends. I am also Momma to my two miniature dachshunds, Peanut and Reeses, which are the love of our lives. I was blessed with great parents and although I lost my mom, she was a great mom and friend. My dad was lucky to find love a second time and I feel fortunate that I too, got lucky twice and have a great Stepmom who I love very much.
We live in a quiet country setting about 40 miles from Manhattan, NY and it is quite peaceful. I discovered a passion for design and decorating in my 30’s and although physical limitations have kept me from making a career of my passion, I channeled those energies into my own home. Over the years, my style has gone through some transformations, from a really American country style to French and European Country with an Old World flare. I love to decorate with many things but some of my favorite accessories are Cloches, Lavender and Mercury Glass.
My favorite time of year is the fall and holiday time; so our home is pretty decked out. I also love to paint and faux furniture as well as many other crafts.
I love to cook and bake so look forward to sharing some recipes as time goes by, I think you’ll enjoy them. In addition to my love of gardening (deer/groundhogs 100 me 10 LOL) I am a big fan of baseball and football.
