Hello everyone, it was a snowy day in Northern New Jersey today. What a perfect setting for getting some Christmas decorating finished. I put on some Christmas music and went to it. I don’t mind the cold weather but the snow I don’t like too much, nice for effect, but not for having to go out in when walking two pups. On to the post:
I thought about using one of the French flower pots (mod podge transfer method) I made over the summer and utilizing it for my Christmas decorating. I thought this would make a good little crafty project and it turned out how I envisioned. It works nicely on my spare table in the dining room under our Kinkade print.
Using a bottle brush tree I purchased last year on EBay, I decided to make a topiary. I placed the tree inside the pot and surrounded the tree with greenery I had in my box of Christmas stash as I love to call it. I added a wreath with pomegranates as a base to finish this project off. I feel that this project adds a bit of whimsy and elegance and I thought it was a great way to use my pot that I love from season to season.
