Hi everyone it is still very hot and humid in New Jersey. We are hoping it will cool down soon but it doesn’t seem like it will for a bit.
Today my John, came home from the market with a surprise for me. No, not diamonds, LOL but with a bunch of sunflowers that he knows I love. I think they are so vibrant and such a bold flower that I can’t resist them.
I took a few shots of them ( I plan on finding a good spot and will show you all my ideas in another post). For now, I hope you enjoy this summer yellow beauty!

How thoughtful of your hubby to bring you the gorgeous sunflowers. I have a little volunteer one growing in my garden. It must have sprouted from the sunflower seeds the birds dropped.
I have the best husband. He truly is great. I wish I could grow them in my garden but I h ve too many animals around that love them. They are so bright and cheery, Thank you very much for your kind words.

My sister lives near a sunflower filed, and people carve harts and words into the center. It’s so cool to find in the midst of a huge filed of sunflowers!
