Friends of ours recently took a trip to Ireland for their honeymoon and brought back a beautiful Blackthorn walking stick for John. Knowing that John is Irish and very proud and involved in his heritage I thought it was wonderful that they thought of him and brought this piece back for him. It has a spot in a corner of our Dining Room across from where John usually sits so he has a nice view of the piece.
I think it adds some whimsy and some of John and his heritage to our home.
