I spoke about this table in our dining room in an earlier post. We painted and changed the legs from straight to ornate and added appliques but what I never discussed was what is on top of the table.
I love Mercury glass so I have three pieces of that on top of the table along with a purchase I made recently from www.elizabethsembellishments.com
I also have a sugar shaker which was gift from my stepmom a while back that is from England. I love it very much. I always wanted a sugar shaker.
One of the jars is filled with decorative balls I had used in another room and I still love them; they are ornate and very pretty.
I believe these pieces add some character and warmth to our dining room.
