Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Since we have a traditional center hall colonial, the entry to the living and dining rooms are symmetrical.  In keeping with that, I decided to try to find a matching pair of something, that I could put over each doorway on the foyer side.  I was lucky to find this pair of metal pieces that fit perfectly and had just the right amount of coloration.

I found them a while back in a small shop just over the border of New Jersey in Pennsylvania.  I think that they are so pretty and they add a bit of elegance to our entryway.  I was fortunate that  I didn’t have to do much to these pieces.  They give both the living and dining entryways a little extra flair.
