Today I decided to add some spring flair to the house, so I created this spring table arrangement. We use our dining room quite a bit for both intimate dinners and larger gatherings. I think this look is very festive.
I generally don’t cover the table completely with a tablecloth, since I worked so hard sanding and oil rubbing it! LOL! I usually run one down the center and then cross two over, this gives each setting a covering, but leaves the rest of the wood finish to show. The oak top is very durable anyway, so I don’t feel the need to cover it.
The china I bought a few years back from Noritake and the glasses; I bought so long ago I can’t remember where I purchased them. I love the way the flowers add such a spring flare to the table with my large Mr. Bunny and my favorite cloche.
I have little frames that I bought many years ago from the Rag Shop and I use them as place cards for seating.
On the side serving piece I put some of my cloches with springtime plants; they add a fresh inviting feel to the room.

I actually love setting the table using simple placemats so I can enjoy the look of the actual table itself. I love what you did with the vignette of the centerpiece of the table. You are the cloche queen…Your table is beautiful and I love the vignette of the fresh spring flowers on the buffet…
