This is just an old wooden country store sign (Apple Pie 5 Cents LOL). I gave it a base coat of paint to cover the words and then decided to add an applique we had left from the furniture projects. I then, painted and faux it with burnt umber paint mixed with glaze on the entire plaque to give it the look of age and charm and then found the perfect spot for it on a wall in my kitchen.
